IH/M&RS Seeks Hospitality Products

The awards will be presented during the IH/M&RS opening ceremony, Sunday, November 12.

What new products will represent the future of hospitality design? Catch a glimpse at the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS), November 11-14 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Show organizers are currently seeking entries, due October 27,  to the 11th annual Editors’ Choice Awards, a program recognizing cutting-edge new hospitality products.

Winners will be selected from six categories—Décor, Essentials, Flavors, Luxury, Restaurant, and Technology. One talented designer will take home the Kenneth F. Hine Best of Show Award. Entries should be unique products and/or services that are new to the market within the current year.

A jury composed of editors from leading hospitality trade publications will select winners based on innovative product design, how a product answers a particular industry need, creative use of material or construction, and development or use of a new technology. The awards will be presented during the IH/M&RS opening ceremony, Sunday, November 12, from 9:45am-10:00am.

“The IH/M&RS Editors’ Choice Awards program is an ideal opportunity for our exhibitors to introduce their new products to the market,” says Christian Falkenberg, show manager. “The recognition that comes along with receiving this award is remarkable, and often leads to great success of these new products in the industry.”

Submissions can be completed online. For more information, contact Melissa Becker, IH/M&RS media supervisor, at 914-421-3263 or via email at melissa_becker@glmshows.com.

IH/M&RS serves as a platform for some 1,400 hospitality industry suppliers and attracts approximately 35,000 in total trade attendance.
