The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art prides itself on showing hot new talent, and the Design Series program gives exposure to emerging architects, industrial designers, and graphic designers never before featured in a solo museum exhibition. Last year, the series premiere presented six projects by Lindy Roy, the architect behind Vitra's showroom in New York.

A new installment, "Yves Béhar Fuseproject/Design Series 2," showcases objects by the industrial designer whose San Fran- cisco firm specializes in brand development and industrial design. Highlights of the exhibition include Fuseproject's shoes for Birkenstock, a part of the Footprints: The Architect Collection. A Toshiba Red Transformer laptop, a bottle and package for Perfume09, and more than two dozen other Yves Béhar designs round out the offerings. March 27–October 3; 415-357-4000; sfmoma.org.
