Lightfair International Announces Seminars

Courses provide AIA, ASID, IIDA, IESNA, and IFMA accreditation.

More than 240 hours of programming, for a total of 76 courses will be offered at the 2006 addition of Lightfair International, May 28–June 1. The architectural and commercial lighting trade show, structured and designed in close partnership with industry experts, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Topics, ranging from sustainability, sidelighting, and daylight simulation, address lighting software and applications, business and lighting fundamentals, design innovation and product updates, and project case studies. Courses will be led by a roster of renowned lighting designers, educators, architects, engineers, and consultants.

Core curriculum provides AIA, ASID, IIDA, IESNA, and IFMA accreditation (upon individual association approval). The Lightfair Daylighting Institute and the Lightfair Institute will be held May 28-29. The tradeshow and conference will be held May 30–June 1.

Attendees will be able to chose from: 12 Daylighting Institute Workshops; one two-day Daylighting Fundamentals course; six two-day Lightfair Institute immersion courses; 19 three-hour Workshops; seven Masters courses; and 30 Seminars.

Lightfair International is sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA). The event is produced and managed by AMC.
