Jolyon Yates Stingray

The sculptural Stingray stool, crafted with 99.9 percent renewable birch, seeks to mimic the gentle curves of the sea creature in motion. The glues and lacquers used in its production have been carefully selected for their durability and low environmental impact. Yates has made other versions in American ash and Tulip wood, and will consider other woods upon request. The stool measures 17 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 19 inches high. Also available, the smaller Stingray Junior measures 16 inches high. 44-1670-730-784; jolyonyates.com. circle 590

Roche-Bobois Fossile

Escape the ordinary with the Fossile Bookshelf, part of the company's aptly named Les Voyages collection. The bookshelf is made with a single material: extruded, notch-finished terracotta. Best yet, its stackable rings make it endlessly purposeful—they can be fitted together for a multitude of configuarations, even taken outdoors. 800-717-2747; roche-bobois.com. circle 596

Esque Studio Prunt

Talk about a conversation piece. The Prunt Vases, from Portland, Oregon-based Esque Studio, are inspired by animation. These hand-blown, knobbed beauties—designed by Justin Parker—indeed look as if they could spring to life. They measure approximately 10 inches to 14 inches high, and come in indigo, orange, and smoke. 503-289-6392; esque-studio.com. circle 592

Eric Manigian Bandwidth 006

Manigian takes full advantage of wood's natural beauty with the simple and artistic Bandwidth 006 coffee table. The contrast of light and dark lines comes from salvaged, solid white ash and zebrawood. The repurposed wood is from small millers who receive fallen, diseased, or removed trees. The table comes in several wood combinations including solid oak, walnut, purple heart, and spalted maple. It measures 30 inches wide by 40 inches deep by 16 inches high; custom pieces also are available. 718-855-9097; ericmanigian.com. circle 593

Omarno Palm Panel Flex and Mosaic

Perfect for columns and other curved surfaces, Palm Panel Flex and Mosaic offers a tropical look thanks to coconut shells. Natural color variation is achieved by using coconuts at different stages of ripening, and a small space between each hand-placed chip leaves room for grout. The panels are available with or without resin, which comes in a wide range of colors including custom finishes. Panels can be fitted with Flex backing in zero-formaldehyde–emitting cork or mesh, or in Omarno's standard plywood backing. The panels contribute to LEED credits for recycled content and low-emitting materials, and each measures 12 inches square. 44-20-8870-9372; omarno.com. circle 595

Graham & Brown Aspen

The leaf print on Aspen eco wallpaper brings the outdoors in. The wallpaper is made from FSC-certified managed timber sources and uses only water-based inks with no VOCs or solvents. Even the packaging is eco-friendly: It's made of a compostable, corn-based material. Rolls are 33 feet long and 20½ inches wide, with a straight design match that repeats every 25 inches. 800-554-0887; grahambrown.com. circle 594

Allstate Rubber Au Natural

This family-run flooring company is breaking new ground with its Au Natural rubber flooring. Natural rubber is a rapidly renewing resource, from rubber trees that are tapped approximately every two days, and have an average lifespan of 25 years. With 81 standard shades and custom coloring available, this fashionable, functional, and durable option will have users floored. 718-526-7890; allstaterubber.com. circle 601

Robert Allen Pure Style

Pure Style fabrics put equal emphasis on “pure” and “style.” Each of the 55 available items in the line is made with organic, recycled, or sustainable fibers. The fabrics are also made with low-impact dyes and finished using environmentally responsible treatment processes. Depending on the individual fabric, the line measures 50 to 55 inches wide and tests from 15,000 to 30,000 double rubs. 800-333-3777; robertallendesign.com. circle 597

Dirtt Environmental Solutions Angle Wall

Adventurous designers take note of the geometrically patterned Angle Wall collection, which can be created at angles up to 75 and 115 degrees. The innovative ICE software used to produce the walls means that virtually any size is possible, from 4 inches to 5 feet wide and up to 10 feet high, though height can be extended circumstantially. Environmentally speaking, the software makes mock-ups obsolete, reducing waste, while prefabrication means less transportation pollution, construction, and renovation waste. 403-723-5000; dirtt.net. circle 598

Maria Yee Ojai Round

Gather 'round the Ojai Round extension dining table. Made with responsibly grown and selectively harvested hardwood, the table is pieced together without a single nail or screw. The pure joinery echoes its eco-conscious design and inherent beauty, as does the durable and eco-friendly lacquer finish, which complies with California's South Coast Air Quality Management District. It measures 48 inches in diameter and 29 inches high. An optional leaf extends the diameter to 68 inches. 831-457-2900; mariayee.com. circle 600

Panelite Bonded Series

The candy colors and honeycomb core of the Panelite Bonded Series make for a sweet spot for light. The core—initially developed for the aerospace industry for its strength-to-weight ratio—is available with a ¼-inch polycarbonate tubular cell; a random mix tubular core of ¼-inch and 1/8-inch cells; and an aluminum hexagonal honeycomb. These bonded series panels require less material, shipping, and labor, and their ability to transmit daylight helps contribute to LEED certification. Facing comes in gloss or satin, and clear or colored, ranging from light blue to bronze. 212-947-8292; panelite.us. circle 599
