Here's this week's roundup of who’s doing what, where in the design community.

Architecture and design firm Mancini-Duffy’s Washington, D.C. office has three new hires. Ruth Jansson is onboard as director of interiors. A Gensler alum, Jansson’s previous projects include law firms, corporate, hospitality, retail,
banking/financial, government, and high-tech/communications facilities.
Allison Truesdell is an interior designer and Michael
Santilli is a project coordinator.
Furniture manufacturer Emeco has new contract representation: CBS Contract Associates will serve Northern California; Du Graf Associates will serve the Pacific Northwest; Steve Maturo and Associates; TJ Horan; and WE Gingell will serve the Mid West; and SL Group will serve New England. Chinese architect Qingyun Ma is the new dean of the School of Architecture, at the University of Southern California. Ma replaces Robert H. Timme, who died last October.
Erleen Hatfield moves up to vice president of the New York office of engineering and design firm Thorton-Tomasetti Group.
Bang Office Interiors, headquartered in Seattle, Washington, now represents office furniture manufacturer Inscape in the Pacific Northwest.
Troy Peifer is now CFO of CSAV, which offers mounts, lifts and accessories for flat panel displays and projectors.
Scot Brown is now vice president of sales for home appliance manufacturer BSH Home Appliances Corporation.
John Alan Mervin and Joseph Yenna join Clestra Hauserman as part of the senior sales manager team. They will be heading up the Philadelphia and Metropolitan New York regions respectively.
