Cassina USA announces the appointment of Denis Colacicco to the position of National Sales Manager. Colacicco has been responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of both residential and contract products for Forma and Design, Inc., San Giacomo as well as Fantoni USA.

Ellerbe Becket shareholders have elected one new Board member and re-elected two more. Jon Buggy, was elected to a two-year term and John M. Holliman and Mark Zweig were re-elected to two-year terms. Holliman has served as Board Chair since 2003. Buggy is a principal in the firm's Minneapolis office and is national director of healthcare. Mark Zweig is president and CEO of ZweigWhite and publisher of the Zweig Letter, a weekly management newsletter for industry professionals. ZweigWhite has twice been named one of Inc. magazine's 500 fastest-growing, privately-held firms in the U.S.

Donna Palon, Haworth Director of Architecture and Design, has been elected to the board of directors for the North Texas Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Palon's responsibilities as a board member will include recruiting, fund-raising and strengthening membership diversity. In her role at Haworth, Palon works to develop partnerships with architects and designers across the southern United States.

SmithGroup has named Ted Davis as principal and director of design for its Minneapolis, Minn. office. Davis joins SmithGroup from Architectural Alliance.

Terri Spencer joins Cubellis Associates' Boston Corporate Interiors Studio as an Associate and Senior Project Manager. Terri brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in all aspects of contract interior design. Prior to joining Cubellis, Terri worked for Jung|Brannen Associates in Boston, MA as a Senior Associate.

Gensler Architecture, Design & Planning Worldwide announces the promotion of 9 new Principals of the firm. The new Gensler Principals (with home office) are:

James S. Camp, Baltimore, MD, co-directs Gensler's Baltimore office. His professional focus is workplace architecture, with a specialization in high technology projects, including incubators and research & development facilities. 

Robert Cataldo , New York, NY, joined Gensler in 1986 to work on a J.P. Morgan & Co. headquarters project. He was design director for eight years and in 1996 he assumed the management role of Studio Director. 

J.F. Finn III, Las Vegas, NV has helped to develop a wide range of planning and architectural projects, including large-scale community master plans, transit facilities, civic buildings and mixed-use developments.

Gerald C. Gehm , Houston , TX, has an extensive portfolio of projects for clients in the fields of energy, professional services, technology, finance, and health care. 

Edward A. Grun, AIA, Houston, TX, joined Gensler in 2000. Grun has more than 27 years of professional experience in hospitality, corporate, and commercial architecture.

Steven J. Martin , AIA, Washington, DC directs Gensler's law firm practice in the Southeast region.

Ernest Muñoz, AIA, Charlotte, NC, became Co-Director of Gensler's Charlotte office in 2004. He was formerly a leader of Gensler's architecture practice in Washington, D.C.

Jon Tollit, London. UK, joined Gensler in 2001 as Technical Director and Design Leader for Gensler's Studio 585, leading members of the London Studio 585.

James Williamson, Washington, DC, is one of Gensler's firmwide workplace practice leaders, helping clients transform their workplaces for higher productivity and performance.
