It's time once again for Chicago's interior designers to pull on their plus fours as the sixth annual Miniature Masters at the Mart fundraiser drives its way into the city's Merchandise Mart on February 12.

Organizers expect more than 400 people to take on the 18-hole mini-golf course to support the Illinois Interior Design Coalition, a non-profit legislative association. The evening will feature golfing foursomes -- made up of interior designers and their clients, brokers, contractors, vendors, dealers and students -- all competing for prizes such as best-dressed team and best-designed golf hole. The festivities also include live music, food and drinks, the event's first-ever silent auction, and a "19th Hole" after-party.

Organized by the Illinois chapters of the American Society of Interior Designers and the International Interior Design Association, the event enlisted teams of Illinois interior design firms, contract firms, vendors, and students to design the golf holes, which are located on three floors of the Merchandise Mart. Eighteen of the building’s contract exhibitors are sponsoring the holes, as well as three “watering holes” for mingling and refreshment.
