On the Edge

edited by Sheila Kim-Jamet -- Interior Design, 2/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

NeoCon West returns to the L.A. Mart, offering a range of products, services, and educational sessions for the architecture and design community. One of the trade show's events this year is a panel presentation, moderated by Interior Design deputy editor Edie Cohen, featuring the five firms participating in the second annual West Edge: Spaces of Unlimited Creativity competition. Each West Coast firm—IA Interior Architects, Team HC, Chu+Gooding Architects, Langdon Wilson, and WWCOT—teams up with contractors and manufacturers in a contest to create the most distinct environment, which will be on view and voted on at NeoCon West.

Other highlights of NeoCon include a keynote address by Niels Diffrient, the man behind Humanscale's award-winning Freedom chair, and the Buildings Show, for facility managers and specifiers. March 9-10; 800-677-6278; merchandise mart.com.
