To expand their global reach, Giorgetti is headed due north. The company recently announced a collaboration with Toronto-based POI Business Interiors to broaden their market selection by launching a residential collection designed and supplied by the Italian manufacturer.

A 50-year veteran in the commercial furniture industry, POI is poised to extend its reach to the residential sector and has chosen Giorgetti, who shares an even longer 100-year history, as its premier brand. “We have selected Giorgetti to showcase our new residential division because we feel that their sophisticated European design is just right for the Toronto market which tends to appreciate modern European styling,” says Julie Anne Smedley, president of POI.

Giorgetti is widely regarded for its commitment to contemporary design and quality craftsmanship, a factor that did not go unnoticed by the Canadian manufacturer. “Giorgetti is known for its use of carefully selected solid woods, crafted by artisans who pay the utmost attention to details, creating furniture that that will stand the test of time” Smedley continues.

The partnership marks Giorgetti’s first showroom presence in Canada. It joins an existing dealer network of 13 stores and showrooms throughout North America.
