Eminently eye-catching, the Oculus pendant lives up to its name. Designed by Jeffrey Goodman, each form is unique—three blobs of glass are blown into the shade, which comes in clear, olive gray, amber, steel blue, or dark purple (not shown). The pendant looks great alone or in clusters.

In 1971 Roger Capron sold hundreds of his stunning handmade tiles to a Japanese dealer. Six years ago Guéridon snapped up the remaining ones and since has produced pieces—ranging from coasters to coffee tables—that incorporate the artist's much coveted vintage tiles. The latest creation is the Avila lamp, a crafty modern lighting solution. Available with black or white base and shade. Call 212-677-7740 for information.
