Designers from the hotel and restaurant industries will judge the entries, both new designs and renovations, that were completed between January 1, 2008 and June 1, 2009. Last year, designers of hotels, motels, timeshares, restaurants, clubs, cruise ships, casinos, conference centers and spas collectively submitted 200 entries from 23 countries and territories.
"Each year, the Gold Key Awards serve as a platform for recognizing and honoring hospitality designers from around the world who excel in their field," says show manager, Lynn White. "The properties showcased through these awards are among the most remarkable destinations in the world."

Finalists and grand-prize winners will be honored at a November 9 breakfast ceremony sponsored by Interior Design and Hotels magazine at New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The event will also serve as a scholarship fundraiser for the non-profit Hospitality Industry Network.
Category descriptions, submission instructions and applications are available online, or may be obtained by contacting IH/M&RS marketing manager Melissa Gray at 914-421-3263 or by email.
The 94th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show, running November 7 through 10 at New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, will feature more than 1,000 hospitality industry suppliers, and is expected to draw 35,000 attendees.
We would love your feedback!
