From May 8 through 10, St. Anne’s Warehouse in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood hosted the seventh annual BKLYN Designs, bringing the best of the borough to the forefront of the design community. Spilling over into Jane’s Carousel and the BSH showroom, dozens of designers seized the opportunity in an ailing economy to introduce their wares and reach for some quality face time with hungry members of the trade.

Sponsored in part by Interior Design, exhibitors ran the gamut of interior products showcasing furniture, textiles, lighting, flooring, accessories, and more. The “locally grown, internationally known” show featured seasoned veterans who welcomed patrons and offered information regarding their choice goods, as well as event newcomers, like excited graduate and undergraduate students from Pratt’s industrial design program who eagerly approached attendees to detail their prized creations.
