Fashioned from a solitary 2 ¼ inch-thick monolithic volume of acrylic resin cast in Berman’s signature Arrigado texture, accented with brushed stainless steel hardware, and equipped with a high intensity LED light source, Heat is an expression of singularity. Like a slab of rippling water captured and frozen in time, the sculpture glows with a cool inner radiance, its name a playful contradiction.
