Bigger and better

Keeping pace with its prolific product offerings, Ann Sacks has unveiled its largest showroom to date. The loftlike 10,000-square-foot New York space features an extensive display area, including luxe vignettes pairing complementary tiles, fittings, and vanities with furnishings by Barbara Barry, Michael Smith, et al., for sister company Baker Furniture.

A sophisticated lighting system—halogen spots as well as fixtures that automatically adjust in response to fluctuating daylight—helps clients discern subtle differences in product shades and textures. And a dramatic oiled-steel staircase with treads of Linen stone ascends to a spacious mezzanine for client consultation.

In short, all is designed for checking out the company's latest and greatest, such as Anticosti tessera mosaics, which come in a honed, polished, or tumbled finish, in pre-designed patterns or custom options. Clodagh's array of ceramic tiles, white-oak vanities, minimalist lavatories, and stainless-steel accessories compose the first complete Ann Sacks bath collection by an out-of-house designer. —Sheila Kim
