Blue Skies Ahead
Coop Himmelb(l)au will complete its first U.S. public project in July: an expansion of Ohio's Akron Art Museum, a 19th-century Renaissance revival building. The 63,000-square-foot new structure is notable fora 300-foot-long cantilevered steel armature—as renderings and construction photos posted on the Web reveal.

 

eWalk-Through
Furniture impresario Guy Cnop, who used to carry a mix of manufacturers' wares at his three adjacent Los Angeles showrooms, has now converted them into a single 6,200-square-foot showcase exclusively for Ligne Roset's growing collections. The company's interior architect, Benoit Duranson, collaborated on the transformation.
