Lightfair 2006: Product Winners Announced

Peerless Lighting takes home the Best New Product of the Year Award.

Parallels, by Peerless Lighting What stood out during architectural and commercial lighting tradeshow and conference Lightfair 2006 , held May 30-June 1 in the Las Vegas Convention Center? That’s what an independent panel of industry experts put there heads together to find out. This year, the task was harder than ever—276 products were submitted for the 2006 New Product Showcase & Awards program, the most in the show’s history. Winners—outstanding product introductions and innovative emerging technologies—are listed below.

Lightfair International is sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and produced and managed by AmericasMart. Next year, Lightfair will be held in New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, May 6-10. Parallels, by Peerless Lighting. Winner of the Best New Product of the Year Award, the program’s highest honor recognizing the best of the best for 2006.

Nalu, by Dreamscape Lighting Mfg. Winner of the Design Excellence Award, recognizing product excellence in design and application.

Equos, by Philips. Winner of the Technical Innovation Award, recognizing lighting technology excellence.
