Going Up

For Jakarta's Seibu flagship, the largest in all of Indonesia, the Tokyo department-store chain enlisted Callison. The centerpiece of the 108,000-square-foot building is a five-story atrium awash in etched glass, chrome, and mirror. Other parts of the interior are defined by hand-cut marble, carved woodwork, and patterned wall coverings.
