Interstate 101 in Santa Rosa, California, will soon offer a drive-through course in art appreciation. In 2007, the city's Museum of Contemporary Art at the Luther Burbank Center will open on a site adjacent to the freeway. Designed by Oakland architecture firm Envelope A+D, the project will include 3,700 square feet of galleries—in addition to four roadside billboards.
