Aristokraft Announces Kitchen Contest Winners

Winners took home $5,000 in cash and were featured at the International Builders’ Show.

Meaghan O'Neill -- Interior Design, 3/5/2007 12:00:00 AM

Aristokraft Cabinetry, a division of MasterBrand Cabinets, recently announced the winners of its inaugural kitchen design contest, Living in Style, which offers builders and designers the opportunity to submit their kitchen designs featuring Aristokraft products. Entries were required to feature a newly constructed kitchen that was built between September 1, 2005 and September 30, 2006.

A panel of judges chose the best design in four categories, with winning entries determined by two major criteria: Aesthetics and functionality of the overall room design and functional and aesthetic use of design in addressing challenges and capitalizing on assets. Winners received a $5,000 cash prize, were featured at the 2007 International Builders' Show, which was held February 7¬10 in Orlando, and were published in Aristokraft's Living in Style newsletter and online.

The winning designers are: Lisa Stanowsky for Drexel Interiors of Oak Creek, Wisconsin in the Model Home category; Kristina Peterson, also of Oak Creek, Wisconsin in Move-Up Home; Demi Clark for D.R. Horton of Charlotte, N.C. in Entry Level Home; and Ruth Westra for Starlite Kitchens & Baths of Byron Center, Michigan in Luxury Home.
