Not only is reclaimed wood environmentally-friendly, it is often more attractive and durable. The problem? It is often difficult to obtain. This month, sustainable design firm Restoration Timber will open the first reclaimed wood showroom in New York at the New York Design Center.
Restoration Timber’s services include flooring, ceilings, wainscoting, beams, siding, and stock for furniture and cabinetry, for projects including commercial, multi-unit dwellings, and residential. Notable past projects include Lettus: Café Organic in San Francisco.
"In a time when environmental responsibility is so pertinent in design, we are thrilled to have a company which will help to bring the NYDC into the forefront of green design,” notes James Druckman, president and CEO of the New York Design Center.
The showroom is located at suite 436, 200 Lexington Ave.
We would love your feedback!
