Graham & Brown Birdcage

Part of the Mode wallpaper collection, Birdcage depicts birds resting atop scattered trees and dangling cages. The 20½-inch-wide pattern, sold in 11-yard rolls, comes in four colorways—ebony, ivory, Tropical Chocolate, and Tropical—and has a 25-inch offset repeat. 609-395-9200; grahamandbrown.com. circle 411

Loophouse Hidden

Piled with layers of color and texture, the Hidden carpet collection is packed with emerging patterns. In the case of Eliza, a coherent curvilinear design materializes out of an apparently random profusion of threads and ribbons tossed on top of each other. Made of wool, it's offered in custom sizes and colors. 44-20-720-77619; loophouse.com. circle 412

Channels Motley Drum

Samuel Chan's Motley collection of tables, stools, and pedestals began with his Motley drum, for which small pieces of wood were fashioned, via finger joints, into ½-inch-thick sheets, adhered together to make solid blocks. Available in four sizes, the cedar version can be used indoors and out, whereas its birch counterpart is for interior use. A slatted interpretation, the Motley baton drum, is available in oak and teak. 44-20-7371-0301; channelsdesign.com. circle 413

Tom Dixon Copper

Another jewel in the crown of the wildly successful Copper Collection, the Blow floor lamp is designed to accommodate low energy–use compact fluorescent lightbulbs. It casts a warm glow for interiors, but can now be used as an outdoor flood thanks to its heavyweight industrial tip. It measures 13 inches high by 12 in diameter. 44-20-7400-0529; tomdixon.net. circle 414

Frost Camouflage

Form and function hang on each other when splat-shape Camouflage coat hooks are in use. Offered in black, white, polished chrome, plum, dark green, dark gray, and lime, the hooks measure 9½ inches high by 15¾ wide and the three depths are 1 1/3, 2, and 2½ inches. 45-8761-0032; frostdesign.dk. circle 415

Chae Young Kim Urban Camoflage

Organic yet geometric, Urban Camouflage wallpaper seeks to express the relationship between people and the environment with fractal patterns, as seen in the Smallest Garden collection. The design approach magnifies natural particles until a repetitive pattern emerges, which is then printed on silk textiles that come in numerous patterns including Beech 1, Beech 2, Beech 3, and Ash. 44-75-1534-6041; chaeyoungkim.com. circle 416

Niels Schuurmans Balloon

Two years in the making, this young Dutch designer's Balloon collection is the result of a desire to make furniture without the use of tools and machinery. The suite of 32 1/3-inch-high bistro table, chairs, and a 36-inch-high side table are made by filling tubular balloons with a polyester-fiberglass compound that hardens into durable components. Talk about clowning around. Available in pink, green, blue, yellow, and chrome. 31-611-200-861; nielsschuurmans.nl. circle 417

Pinch Design Beata

The beehive-inspired Beata pendant fixture is certain to make Mad Hatters glow. Made of woven straw used by milliners, the shade is available in three colors: nutmeg, linen, and white. Hung from an adjustable cable, it comes in two sizes: 13½ inches wide by 20 high and 12 inches wide by 13¾high. 44-20-7501-9262; pinchdesign.com. circle 418

Sam Pickard Wallflower Stripe

Anything but bashful, the edgy botanical of Wallflower Stripe is inspired by the English countryside. Its spindly flowers, splashes, and dripping stripes printed on a linen and cotton ground are good reason to update that little rural cottage. To keep walls equally au courant, it's also offered as paper. 44-1769-574-263; sampickard.co.uk. circle 419

Vladi Rapaport Vanitas

This young designer from Utrecht draws on Dutch still lifes that depict skulls to convey the temporality of earthly existence. His three-piece Vanitas collection includes the Something Dead lamp in leather, steel, and carbon fiber; the Brain ottoman in leather and polyurethane foam, which can also be used as a table; and the Skull chair of plywood, polyester, and glass fiber. 31-624-244-573; vladirapaport.nl. circle 420

Ji-Hyun Yoo Vessel of Tears

Inspired by drops of dew on twigs, the poignant sculptures of this Korean designer's Vessel of Tears collection may be hefted by handles of knotted tree branches fashioned from brass. Offered in three sizes, 3¾ inches wide by 3¾ inches high, 3¾ wide by 4¾ inches high, and 4¾ inches wide by 2½ inches high, the dishes, actually meant for gathering tears, might not cope with the torrent that follows any glance at a recent 401K statement. 44-77-9661-7474. circle 421
