Island (Still) Life

edited by Craig Kellogg -- Interior Design, 7/1/2006 12:00:00 AM

Following a scouting trip to Honolulu, Ralph Pucci returned to New York and unveiled "Tribute to Noguchi," a collection of earthy Hawaiian masterpieces, at Ralph Pucci International. The showroom's Los Angeles outpost now offers a second chance to appreciate the simplicity and solidity of stone or wood sculptures by John Koga, Randall Shiroma, Lonny Tomono, and Jeff Roth. Concurrently on the walls, photographer Franco Salmoiraghi displays his elegantly framed black-and-white Hawaiian landscapes dating from 1969 to the present. Going fast! Through September 15; 310-360-9707; ralph-pucci.com.
