Martha Stewart adds celebrity status to the upcoming High Point Market, in High Point, North Carolina. The lifestyle guru and founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia will take the stage at the mega home furnishings fair April 8, at 7 p.m.

Stewart will delve into home decorating and design inspirations, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at her own lines, which she says are influenced by her "personal collections and treasured objects." Interior designer Stephen Sills of Sills Huniford Associates will also take the stand. Stewart's three manufacturers -- Bernhardt Furniture Co., Murray Feiss Industries, and Safavieh -- will all debut new lines at the show.

"This special Martha Stewart event is part of one of the most extraordinary line-ups of educational and social events in the history of the High Point Market: The World’s Home for Home Furnishings," said Brian D. Casey, president and chief executive of the High Point Market Authority.

The event is sponsored by the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) in cooperation with the High Point Market Authority.
