Top Pics in Kitchen & Bath
Danze
Among a dizzying array of more than 130 styles, this 7-inch showerhead rotates to massage with water power. danze-online.com.
Toto
There's so much to like about Helix. First, good looks. The stainless-steel basin's generous, circular shape was inspired by the sun, while a brushed interior finish adds contrast (and hides scratches). Second, good deeds. The EcoPower sensor faucet generates its own electricity each time water flows over an internal mini-turbine; the energy is then stored in a patented rechargeable battery with a 10-year life span. www.totousa.com.
Ann Sacks
We could hardly think of a more fitting collaboration than one between Ann Sacks and Clodagh, who share both a Zen aesthetic and dedication to detail. The dreamy new Clodagh bath collection comprises 26 pieces, from large items—tub, vanity—to such smaller offerings as towel holders and tiles. This gel-coat tub features a floor-mounted bath filler in stainless steel finished to mimic gray satin. www.annsacks.com.
Küppersbusch
Matrix lets users design their own cooktops. A universal connecting strip permits easy (and endless) combinations of components, which vary in size and function. Mix and match gas burners, grills, and even induction woks. www.kuppersbuschusa.com.
Deco Lav
Lévan is the latest from the Translucence line of tempered-glass vessels and lavatory consoles. Given the continued popularity of glass basins, we were happy to find a price-conscious introduction that's both design-savvy and durable. 241 NE Second Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444; 561-274-2110; www.decolav.com.
Seieffe
Okite, an Italian surfacing material in quartz and resin, is relatively new to the U.S. Resistant to stains, heat, and scratches, the slabs and floor tiles are ideal for kitchen and bath installations. Translucent colors add a warm glow to either application. www.seieffe.it

Bisazza and Dornbracht

One of the coolest booths at the show granted a glimpse into the life and work of architect David Ling. His concept bathroom—featuring a his-and-hers Dornbracht shower with glass mosaic Bisazza tiles—will eventually be installed at Ling's weekend house in Amagansett, New York. www.bisazzausa.com; www.dornbracht.com.
Axolo
Setting out to transform the cabin shower, Giovanni Ronzoni, Luisa Frigerio, and Fabrizio Prosperio came up with Proxima, which offers time-pressed comfort-seekers an alternative to the soaking tub. The luxe, ultramodern system comprises clear crystal walls, plus a stainless-steel shower plate and irrigation column. Drain covers come in marble or precious wood. www.axolousa.com
Colombo Design
Francesco Lucchese has somehow summoned the sensual side of toilet-paper and toothbrush holders. Sexy rounded forms characterize the designer's Yoga collection of bath accessories in pressure-cast chromed brass. www.orionhardware.com.
Viking Range Corporation
Putting things on the back burner has never been simpler. The Designer series's continuous-grate cooktop allows pots and pans to slide between burners, and the arched lines add easy elegance. www.vikingrange.com.
