Signature Hospitality Carpets Launches Paper Samples

Samples arrive within 24 hours of request.

Designers who request samples from Signature Hospitality Carpets now receive a digitally engineered paper product, which showcases patterns and colorways in a realistic three-dimensional spec.

The samples, color-accurate and visually textured, are the brainchild of sustainable design firm Tricycle, which currently works with big-name carpet manufacturers including Interface and Lees. Signature plans to use the samples, which can be delivered within 24 hours of request, for new products. The samples will also cost the manufacturer less--without producing landfill waste.

"Designers are running their hands over the prints, unable to believe how much they look like our carpet, and are enthusiastic about being able to see the simulation in room scenes. Younger designers, especially, are thinking about the future, about how to keep carpet out of landfill; we are glad to be able to tell them to demand print samples, because it makes such a difference," says Signature president Brenda Smith.
