NEWH Las Vegas Seeks Hospitality Design Entries

Restaurant developer Elizabeth Blau picks up a Hospitality Industry Achievement Award.

NEWH Las Vegas, the Hospitality Industry Network is soliciting entries to its 4th annual Hospitality Design Contest. Honoring excellence in hospitality design, the competition is open to Southern Nevada firms or for firms who have completed new construction or renovation projects in Southern Nevada between January 1, 2005 and June 30, 2007.

Categories include Grand Hotel; Midsize Hotel; Boutique Hotel; Lobby; Hospitality Retail Space; Suite; Typical Room; Condo-Hotel Room; Time Share Room; LEED-CI; Casino Space; Ballroom/Convention Space; Fine Dining Restaurant; Night Club; Casual Restaurant; Spa; Theatre Country Club; Landscape; and Interiorscape.

An awards ceremony will be held November 3 in Las Vegas, at resort Wynn Las Vegas. At the ceremony, a Hospitality Industry Achievement Award will be presented to restaurant developer Elizabeth Blau, the founder and CEO of strategic restaurant planning and development firm Elizabeth Blau & Associates.
