Tough ACT to Follow

Staff -- Interior Design, 2/1/2002 12:00:00 AM

The Association for Contract Textiles's sixth annual ACT Scholarship Quilt Auction will take place at Sotheby's in New York. This year, such celebrated designers as Martha Burns and Kurt Meinecke will create quilts, furniture, and objects featuring textiles by 41 of ACT's member companies. For the past five years, proceeds have funded scholarships for selected college and university textile departments; this year's beneficiary will be Philadelphia University. March 21; 888-228-2122; www.contract-textiles.com.
