Switch Hitter

Mark McMenamin -- Interior Design, 2/1/2010 12:00:00 AM

Delivering drama is Barry Goralnick's job at his architecture firm, Goralnick. And when he switches to two dimensions, he doesn't renege on that obligation. His spatial sense emerges through recurring geometrics in 18 hand-tufted rugs for Stark. He drew on 1950's textiles for wool Interlocking Circles and '60's graphics for wool-viscose Windmills; wool-flax Dashes makes a good alternative to animal print. Specify the rugs in any size or color, even other fibers. 212-752-9000; starkcarpet.com. circle 431
