What do you get when the team behind a West Village condo building designed by William Pedersen gets together with an online vintage-furnishings-and-fashion marketplace? A hybrid designer showcase and pop-up shop in One Jackson Square featuring the work of designers Steven Gambrel, Julie Hillman, and David Mann and the wares of 1stdibs.com.
The One Jackson Square apartments are located at 122 Greenwich Avenue and are open to the public by appointment through February 1st. The residences, two duplexes and a large one bedroom, are located on the sixth floor of the 11-story building, and feature floor-to-ceiling views of Jackson Square Park on Greenwich Avenue.

Designed by William Pedersen and Trent Tesch of Kohn Pedersen Fox, One Jackson Square features independently curving floors and and a facade of shimmering ribbon-like windows. Its lobby, fabricated by Situ Studio, boasts custom undulating bamboo plywood walls—designed to mimick the building's willowy exterior--precision-milled by a new computer system that digitally carves the wood piece by piece.

In addition to serving as a buyer's showcase for those in looking to purchase real estate, the model residences will also act as temporary stores with their furniture and art available for purchase online.
One Jackson Square is hosting an open house from December 3 through 6. After the open house, call 212-366-1110 to set an appointment to see the residences.

Its such a great building. It looks young, glamourous and fun. A nice
addition to the neighborhood.
And each of the designers had a completely different approach to fitting
out their space, giving the impression that diverse personalities can be at
home there.
