Les Objets d'Affection

Staff -- Interior Design, 5/1/2002 12:00:00 AM

Founding mastermind of the five-year-old Paris Photo, Rik Gadella is betting on another successful fair in the city of light. His Le Salon XXe Siècle is the first major international show of 20th-century design objects and furnishings to be mounted in Europe. The four-day event at the Carrousel du Louvre brings together 37 international antiques dealers and galleries, including David Gill of London, Barry Friedman of New York, and Eric Philippe of Paris. An installation of objects by 25 designers, selected by ambassadors from the countries in question, appears on the venue's mezzanine, which overlooks the main exhibition hall. June 6-9; 33-1-42-77-58-94.
