Best of Year Winner, Wallcoverings: Other: urban ARCHAEOLOGY — Origami-Wallpaper Collection

This original design is a modern, hand-carved tile that, when put together, creates a continuous pattern to form a decorative 'wallpaper' effect. This faux-folded glazed ceramic tile measures 6"x6" and is available in 23 colors and three finishes, crackle, gloss and matte.

Best of Year Merit Awards, Wallcoverings: Other

Architectural Systems, Inc. — Embossed Wood- Geometrix ™ Collection
This collection combines state of the art technology and avant-garde designs in three-dimensional, geometric patterns for an extraordinary effect. The textured surfaces, available in 11 patterns and 6 finish options, earned Blue Angel “green label” certification for no added urea-formaldehyde. The panels offer unlimited possibilities, including feature wall and all architectural millwork applications.

Artistic Tile — Bloom/Jardin Collection
Inspired by the serenity and simplicity of nature, the Bloom pattern from Artistic Tile’s new Jardin Collection, captures the delicate nature of flower petals. Hand- carved ceramic tile, the dimensional design is highlighted with hand-painted detail to accentuate intricacies of the repeating pattern, which interlocks for a seamless installation.

Configur-8 LLC — Variable Surface Module/Quarto
This module is inspired by a meandering river flowing through a system of deep canyons. Simply flipping or rotating the deep profiled module changes the overall pattern composition. This concrete formulation contains a high recycled content (30%+) and a finish that is the smoothest in the industry.

MDC Wallcoverings — Tabrasa
MDC Wallcoverings introduces tabrasa™ by IdeaPaint, a high-performance dry-erase paint that transforms any space into a platform for communication. Architects and designers can use tabrasa in contract, hospitality, education, healthcare and government facilities.
