Luxury hotelier Four Seasons has completed its newest undertaking in Hong Kong. Architecture is courtesy of Rocco Design, and an international roster of interior designers includes Toronto-based Yabu Pushelberg, Singapore’s Wilson & Associates, and KCA International Designers, of London. The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong is located in the International Financial Centre complex--which also happens to be home to the world's longest escalator system.
The hotels has 399 guest rooms--each equipped with a 42-inch plasma TV, marble flooring, and wood and fabric paneled walls. The rooms are 484 square feet--making them the largest standard rooms in a city where space is luxury. Additional amenities include two harbor facing ballrooms and seven meeting rooms.
Two restaurants supply guests with dinning options. French-themed Caprice, overlooking Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Peninsula seats 120, and is integrated into the kitchen to showcase chefs at work. The restaurant includes an adjoining bar and lounge area, three private dining rooms with seating for up to 12 guests, and a Chef’s Table. Lung King Heen--meaning ‘view of the dragon’--is a Chinese restaurant located on the fourth floor.
Four Seasons also recently opened Four Seasons Hotel Doha in Qatar, overlooking the Persian Gulf.
