In Canada, the design eye is on the winners of the IIDEX/NeoCon Canada Innovation Awards (formerly the Product and Booth Awards). Bestowed during exposition and conference for the design, construction, and management of the built environment IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, the awards recognize outstanding new design products and booths displayed at the show.
Winners were selected by a jury comprised of 26 industry professionals, led by co-chairs Ester Ritchie, president of DIL Disegno Interiors and Linda Makins, partner at Makins+Ladna Design. Gold award winners include Allsteel, Canlyte, Inscape Corporation, InterfaceFLOR Commercial, Historic Woods, Keilhauer, Shaw Contract Group, Tandus, Teknion, Teknion Furniture Systems, and W Studio.
This year’s winners will be showcased in an issue of Canadian Business.
The Innovation Awards program, celebrating its 22nd year, is overseen by the Interior Designers of Canada and Merchandise Mart Properties (Canada), managers of IIDEX/NeoCon Canada. IIDEX/NeoCon Canada is owned by the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO).
