Pode Leolux

Pillow talk turns vivacious in the hands of Ontwerpduo studio cofounder Tineke Beunders. Leolux recruited her to design part of its Pode brand of furniture, described by the manufacturer as "youthful" and "energetic" as well as "a touch brutal." We see little of the latter in her Dot, an assortment of comfy cushions launched this year at Gemany's IMM Cologne fair. The foam-filled tufted oblongs come in three sizes, which can be pieced together like a puzzle. Small measures 13 by 20 inches, medium 10 by 26 inches, and large 20 by 26 inches. For fabric, specify a Pollack wool-nylon in 15 colors or a Kvadrat wool in four. 31-77-387-72-22; pode.nl. circle 407

Ofita Mizar

Aitor García de Vicuña's option-laden Mizar puts the specifier in the driver's seat. Combine two or three modules—32 inches high, 30½ deep, and 24 wide—to form a love seat or a sofa with or without backrests or arms, in linear or back-to-back arrangements. The frame is pine, and upholstery choices include leather, microfiber, and chenille. Coordinating steel tables also available. 34-90-211-46-12; ofita.com. circle 414

Ligne Roset Confluences

Philippe Nigro based his slightly square, slightly blobular Confluences seating on the linking and overlapping of volumes. Essentially legless chairs, the modules have removable covers in 11 solid and eight multicolored fabrics or two leathers. 800-297-6738; ligne-roset-usa.com. circle 415

Nienkämper Long

David Granger's namesake collection of furniture has expanded to include the Long bench with arms, suitable for both corporate and hospitality venues. Its shell's soft curves, executed in a contract-grade bent plywood, are supported by a stainless-steel frame. 800-668-9318; nienkamper.com. circle 416

Único Miss Lily

Thanks to a pair of rippling tambour doors, Miss Lily will have pack rats masquerading as clutter-free minimalists. The cabinet is made from sustainably harvested elm or sycamore, with a painted birch or clear-coated beech cavity and shelves. 44-1483-280866; unicodesign.co.uk. circle 417

Gallix Papillon

Social butterflies will adore Vincent Gallix's Papillon cocktail tables. The aluminum tops—lacquered red, khaki, black, gold, gray, or white—measure 18 inches in diameter. The lacquered steel-wire legs stand 16 inches tall. 33-4-90-25-32-47; gallixdesign.com. circle 418

Tom Price PP Sheet

Another conversation-starter from the Meltdown series, the PP Sheet chair resulted from this designer's many experiments with plastic. The chair comprises 30 lightweight plastic sheets, riveted together and melted into a shape that is surprisingly durable. 44-7815-720922; tom-price.com. circle 419

Vilagrasa Ash

For those increasingly rare public spaces with no smoking ban in effect, Ash cigarette receptacles are truly smoldering—made of steel painted matte black and trimmed with polished stainless steel. Select one of two sizes: 47¼ inches tall by 11 2/3 wide by 4 deep and 44½ inches tall by 15 wide by 9½ deep. 34-93-345-91-29; vilagrasa.com. circle 420

Luflic In the Round

In the Round's moniker refers to a knitting technique. Like handmade socks from your favorite aunt, a 50-foot-long tube in wool felt or nylon crochet fits tightly over the chair's bent steel frame. Available in 12 irregular stripe variations, 30 solids, and custom colors. 416-820-4982; luflic.com. circle 421

E15 Design und Distributions SH05 Arie

As the library expands, so does Arik Levy's SH05 Arie modular shelving. Choose one of two materials for the 1-inch-thick boards: solid European oak in a natural waxed finish or MDF powder-coated white. And mix or match two height options: 31 1/3 and 75 3/5 inches. 49-6171-97950; e15.com. circle 422

De Vorm Daddy's

Danish modern goes into a steep recline with the low-slung Daddy's chair. Foam cushions with no-sag springs can be covered in numerous fabrics and leathers, accompanied by wooden armrests that double as legs. Dimensions are 27 inches wide, 29 high, and 38 deep. 31-31-369-61-58; devorm.nl. circle 424

Girsberger Seven

Stiff lower backs will welcome the arched attitude of Stefan Westmeyer's Seven chair. Frame choices are solid beech, oak, cherry, and American walnut. For the upholstered seat, select from a variety of leathers and fabrics, including Alcantara, a low-denier bicomponent fiber favored by automakers. 41-62-958-58-58; girsberger.com. circle 423

Urban Oasis Nut

No nuts were destroyed to make Nut, an eco perch constructed from steel rods and pineapple paper. Made with the leaves of pineapple trees, it's vegetable-dyed in 14 color combinations, Sunset among them, plus custom combos. (None are water-resistant.) The bench measures 59 inches wide by 13¾ high. 212-242-8686; urbanoasis.us. circle 425

John Blazy Designs Dichrolam

The chameleon of building products, dichroic glass often comes with a hefty price tag. For interior and exterior projects with shallower pockets, there's now Dichrolam tempered, laminated acrylic or poly-carbonate or annealed safety glass. The film interlayer, which provides the ever shifting iridescent colors, comes in seven versions. Panels are offered in any size up to 54 inches wide by 12 feet long, with thickness ranging from ¼ inch to 1½ inches. 216-272-3948; johnblazydesigns.com. circle 426

Council Layers

Monica Förster's Layers line represents her memories of childhood in icy Sweden, near the arctic circle. Combine the four 10 2/3-inch-high pieces as a generously proportioned cocktail table, and the gaps between the white Corian tops are meant to recall the breaks in ice floes, mingling practicality and poetry. 415-550-1750; councildesign.com. circle 427

Jurij Dobrila's Klun Bigg O bolts to the wall to welcome a sitter or lounger. At 49½ inches across and 21¾ deep, the circular void combines a stainless-steel, iron, or aluminum frame, high-density marine-grade foam, and upholstery of micro-suede, leather, or a UV-resistant textile. Custom color combinations are offered for orders over 100 pieces; the standard pairing is orange-and-white. 386-1-237-31-11; klun.si. circle 428

Walter Knoll Mychair

UNStudio's Mychair has a little something for everyone. Admirers of slanting lines will gravitate to the wedge-shape back. Those who favor full-bodied curves will delight in the amply padded seat. If thin is your thing, your heart will race when you note the crisscrossing polished-chrome tubular-steel base. All of the manufacturer's standard fabrics are available for upholstery. 49-70-32-208-0; walterknoll.de. circle 429
