Teragren Traditional Bamboo Countertops

For use as counters and cutting surfaces, Traditional Bamboo Countertops are a green chef's dream. This flooring, panel, and veneer manufacturer uses sustainably harvested bamboo and a food-safe, formaldehyde-free adhesive for the countertops. The vertical grain, caramelized bamboo face, and contrasting chestnut-strand bamboo core are pre-finished with a food-safe combination of mineral oil and beeswax. They contribute to LEED credits for rapidly renewable resources and low-emitting materials. Available in two sizes: 30 by 96 by 1½ inches, and 36 by 72 by 1½ inches. 800-929-6333; teragren.com. circle 715

Steelcase Cogent Group

The Cogent Group offers four seating upholsteries and two panel fabrics made of antimony-free polyester: Connect, Geode Vertical, Geode Seating, Tides, Traxx, and Wink. The line is the first PET fabric collection to comply with the new Cradle-to-Cradle V2 requirements, which prohibit heavy metals. Available from 54 to 60 inches, each is rub-tested to 60,000 double rubs. 800-333-9939; steelcase.com. circle 717

Project Import Export Scream

Perhaps Edvard Munch was onto something when he visualized a scream in his famous painting. What does a cry look like in chair form? Bannavis Andrew Sribyatta envisions the Scream as a wide, curvy aluminum and stainless steel sculpture that resembles a gaping mouth. The piece measures 36 inches wide and deep by 30 inches high. 305-722-2999; projectimportexport.com. circle 722

Victor Group eHome

Get wild with eHome, Victor Group's newest eco-friendly fabric collection. Zebra prints not your thing? Part of the Eco Intelligence line, eHome fabrics contribute to LEED credits for recycled content. 877-277-9897; victorgroup.com. circle 718

Versa Wallcovering Corrugae

Corrugated cardboard and metal seem unlikely sources of inspiration, but those are exactly the cues used to create the deeply textured Corrugae. Made with Second-Look Recycled Technology, Corrugae comes in 21 colors and is made of 20-ounce, Type II vinyl with water-based inks and adhesives. It measures 52 to 54 inches wide. Through Second-Look, it contributes to LEED certification and can be reclaimed and recycled. 502-458-1502; versawallcovering.com. circle 719

Ann Sacks Profile Bamboo

The glass in Profile Bamboo is as luminous as it is practical, suitable for all indoor and outdoor vertical applications, and even as residential flooring subjected to normal footwear. The handcrafted glass, available in such colorways as Nightsky and Agave, is made partially of bottle glass from curbside recycling programs. The bamboo field measures 3 inches by 9 inches, with 1-inch-by-9-inch and 1½-inch-by-9-inch trims. 800-278-8453; annsacks.com. circle 720

Neo-Metro

The recycled stainless steel Waterless Urinal reaches a new level of environmentalism—absolutely no liquid is needed to flush or evacuate. The durable 16-gauge, stainless steel-compliant product is wall mounted and can be installed to meet ADA requirements; it is certified green by IAPMO. The urinal is available in satin finish, the high-polish Mira finish, white gloss powder coat, and matte black powder coat. The unit measures 22 inches high by 13¾ inches wide by 20¼ inches deep. 800-591-9050; neo-metro.com. circle 721

jGood Design Cyla Chandelier

With cylinders of glass orchestrated at varied heights like organ pipes, the Cyla Chandelier is as much art as it is lighting. Customizable in size and configuration, it is also ecologically friendly, with aluminum and brass free of plating or anodizing, partially recycled glass, and the option of LED lamping. The chandelier comes in 12 colors, from clear to dark purple; custom colors and finishes also are available. 212-475-0479; jgooddesign.com. circle 723

Omnova Solutions Bolta, Essex, Genon, and Tower

With the look, hang, and performance of traditional vinyl wall coverings, the Recore Recycled Wall Technology collection is an effortless way to go green. The line, which includes Bolta, Essex, Genon, and Tower, can contribute up to six LEED credits. The wall coverings are stain resistant, washable, scrubbable, and—thanks to Omnova's Wallcovering Reclamation Program—recyclable. 330-836-4200; omnova.com. circle 727

Sina Pearson Textiles Big Dots Eco-Pile

The Solar System inspired Big Dots and Eco-Pile, two patterns in the Earthy Greens line. Functionally, though, the collection "thinks globally," using recycled content. Big Dots incorporates Crypton Green technology and is woven from post-consumer recycled polyester. Eco-Pile's chenille surface blends biodegradable viscose and post-consumer recycled cotton fibers. The two feature earthy colorways—six for the dot-and-multi-stripe Big Dots pattern and seven for Eco Pile. They measure 54 inches wide; Big Dots is rub-tested to 82,000 double rubs and Eco-Pile to 100,000. 212-366-1146; sinapearson.com. circle 724

SMC Furnishings May

The May lounge chair is not only good-looking, it's also sensitive—to the environment. The chair, like most of the handcrafted pieces by this manufacturer, is made of reclaimed or locally sourced timber and naturally tanned leather straps. Choose from a walnut, cherry, maple, or eucalyptus frame. 866-599-6722; smcfurnishings.com. circle 725

Domingos Totora Kraft Bank

Is cardboard the new black? Kraft Bank is certainly fashionable enough to make a case for it. Comprised of only cardboard and glue, the piece is of eco-conscious crafting and design—Tótora likens the "primitive" color to that of bark, stone, and earth. The bench measures nearly 71 by 20 by 16½ inches. 35-9134-1997; domingostotora.com.br. circle 726
