Luxury tile comes to Antwerp. Bisazza, high-design tile manufacturer, opened its latest flagship store in Belgium this month as a continuation of its international expansion plan.

The new location features 400 square feet of display space, as well as an interior courtyard situated within Antwerp’s old city center. Bisazza Design Studio director Carlo Dal Bianco contributed to the interior look of the space by designing a series of different environments within the store, showcasing the company’s selection of mosaic product lines.

Launched earlier this month, Studio Job acted as featured guest of honor for the flagship’s grand opening. The Dutch design duo created large-scale sculptures to be on display in the store throughout Jaunuary 2009. The sculptures, Cake Platter and Candle Holder, were designed in conjunction with the Bisazza Limited Editions collection. The new store also showcases Bisazza’a Home collection with designs contributed by the crème de la crème of the modern design industry including Andrée Putman, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, Studio Job, Jaime Hayon and Jürgen Mayer H.

The latest Bisazza sotre joins its sister locations in Barcelona, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Milan, Moscow, New York, Paris, and Rome. The next city opening slated for the company will be in Tokyo in February 2009.
