OFDA Recognizes Top Manufacturers

Office furniture manufacturer Herman Miller takes home the Manufacturer of the Year Award.

Mairi Beautyman -- Interior Design, 7/7/2006 12:00:00 AM

Each year the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance (OFDA), a trade association for office furniture dealers and their trading partners, honors manufacturers for their commitment and outreach to the dealer channel. Determined by a dealer poll, the OFDA Dealer Manufacturer Satisfaction Index Survey, the awards recognize top performance and ability to address topics of concern for the dealer community.

Dealers evaluated up to four of their manufacturer business partners in six key categories: training, product lines, service and support, sales and marketing, management, and technology. This year, OFDA received more than 480 verified dealer responses and 50 office furniture manufacturers received evaluations.

The winners are below:

Manufacturer of the YearAward: Herman Miller

Dealers' Choice Awards:

Training: The HON Company and Kimball Office
Product Lines: Knoll and Teknion
Service and Support: Herman Miller and The HON Company
Sales and Marketing: Haworth and Paoli Furniture
Management: Global and Kimball Office
Technology: Herman Miller and The HON Company
