Real estate developer Extell Development has commissioned design firm Gettys to create the interior design for Avenue, a 570-unit mixed-use condominium under construction in Miami's Brickell Avenue neighborhood. It’s not the first time Gettys has appeared in Miami--they did the interiors for the nearby Conrad Miami hotel.
Gettys has already presented designs for the lobby and public spaces on the first floor, which will feature natural elements like stone countertops and sustainable woods, with vibrant pops of color from strong-hued furniture and fabrics, and sculptural lines throughout. They are also
preparing designs for the common areas on the 12th floor, including a wine and cigar lounge, business center, fitness area, spa suites--even a “virtual golf room. Gettys is collaborating with SB Architects (Sandy Babcock) on kitchens, appliances, and other fixtures and finishes on all the apartments, which range from 570-square-foot studios to 2,500-square-foot duplex penthouses.
We would love your feedback!
