Made in the AIA

edited by Sheila Kim-Jamet -- Interior Design, 8/1/2005 12:00:00 AM

"Structures of Our Time: 31 Buildings That Changed Modern Life" showcases photographs of designs that "define an era" and "bestow an architectural identity on their cities," according to the AIA, which has already bestowed its 25 Year Award on them. They include Eero Saarinen's Gateway Arch in Saint Louis, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Seagram Building in New York, and Philip Johnson's Glass House in Connecticut, as well as the Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma—the Frank Lloyd Wright landmark hosting the show. August 12–October 2; 918-336-4949; pricetower.org.
