Workspheres of Influence

-- Interior Design, 1/1/2001 12:00:00 AM

In its latest survey of the impact of industrial design on contemporary culture, the Museum of Modern Art tackles the global work environment. Workspheres, on view from February 8th through May 8th, explores the issues central to our new economy work needs and the designer's role in addressing them. In addition to photographs and models of existing tools and work spaces, the museum invited six design teams, including visionaries from MIT Media Lab, LOT/EK, Haworth, and IDEO, to propose unique solutions and concepts for the future.

MoMA, located at 11 West 53rd Street. For information, call (212) 708-9400.
