Trip the Light Fantastic

Everybody's been talking about Work Architecture Company's "stairdelier" at Diane von Furstenberg's DVF Studio, her future New York headquarters. But does anyone know where the sparkle will come from? Installed beneath skylights, heliostat mirrors will track the sun, bending rays down through a series of three-story atria. Along the way, balustrades strung with Swarovski crystals will refract the light onto the ceiling, the walls, and a reflecting pool.
