Here's this week's roundup of who’s doing what, where in the design community.

Consulting, engineering, technology, and construction firm Syska Hennessy Group has changes to its senior management team. Gary Brennen and Cyrus Izzo are co-chief executive officers and co-chief operating officers and Venkata Ramu is vice chairman and chief engineer. John Magliano remains in the position of chairman.

Keith J. Hawksworth is CEO of planning, engineering, and program and construction management firm PB (formally Parsons Brinckerhoff), effective January 1, 2008. Thomas J. O’Neill will remain chairman of the board.

IA Interior Architects has two new hires. As the new contracts manager, Tiffany Novotny will review, draft, negotiate, and administer master agreements and project contracts. John Miesner was promoted to director of global marketing.

Full service interior design firm TSC Design Associates has two new hires. Wey Lee is chief operating officer. Lee will oversee procedures, daily operations and business enhancement opportunities. Ira Sanchick is an associate.

Italian tile manufacturer Sicis has announced plans to expand its New York flagship to offer over 50,000 square feet of exhibits and product collections.

Ross Welsing moves up to president of contract office furniture dealer Corporate Environments, based in Lakewood, Colorado.

Sabine Bartzke has been named to the leadership team of architectural firm HOK's global corporate accounts practice, offering corporate clients account management services. Bartzke will focus on market strategy and positioning.

Meredith Mack is deputy director and chief operating officer of the Art Institute of Chicago. Former chief financial officer and executive vice president of finance and administration Patricia Woodworth will assume the position of chief financial officer and chief operating officer for the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles.

David Saviola is associate principal for design at architecture and interior design firm DMJM Design.

Engineering firm Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers of Elgin, Illinois has two new hires. Vincent Treague is senior engineer and Brian Faith is a project manager for division Walker Restoration Consultants.

Denver based-Spaces, dealer for furniture manufacturer Allsteel, has three new hires. Yosuke Carter, Audrey Fedele, and Michelle Ricken are account executives for the firm's sales team.

Nemo Tile has launched a new Web site.

Elizabeth Cornish and Paul Stefurak join contract textile company Architex International as market managers.

Claire Bonham-Carter is director of sustainable development for technical service firm AECOM, targeting the DMJM H&N and EDAW operating brands.

Carmen Eskra joins the design team of interior design firm Theiss Interior Design.
