Zandur True Green

The True Green line of flooring is true to its name. The 24-inch-square tiles rack up LEED credits for their content, consisting of 65 percent recycled and renewable cork and 35 percent rubber. The tiles are also antimicrobial, making them perfect for a variety of commercial settings. Available in 48 colors with a host of texture options. 888-397-2656; zandur.com. circle 800

Graypants Scrap Lights

Discarded corrugated cardboard boxes reach a more enlightened plane of existence once reincarnated as Scrap Lights. The lamps come in three shapes: hive, at 9 to 12 inches in diameter; disc at 14 to 17 inches; and bell at 15 to 16 inches. 206-420-3912; graypants.com. circle 820

Conant Metal & Light Ball Jar Pendant

You’ve heard of canned air. Now try canned light. The company that brought you the Greenest Lights on Earth collection has added repurposed canning jars as light fixtures. The Ball Jar Pendant is available with or without a base in clear or frosted glass. Other repurposed household items in the company’s repertoire include flashlights, wine bottles, and paint cans, all as pendants. 800-832-4482; conantmetalandlight.com. circle 819

Livinglass Livinglass Light

Fabric, wood, and other natural materials get a touch of glass with Livinglass Light. The translucent panels are available in 23 designs, including Onyx, Kimono Aqua, Ice, and Roman Coin. Each panel can be custom made in lengths up to 96 inches and widths up to 48 inches, and contribute to LEED credits for recycled content and use of regional materials. 800-846-0245; livinglass.com. circle 821

Armstrong Tierra

Floor-to-ceiling gets new meaning with Tierra, a new natural fiber ceiling material made from 45 percent jute. In just 90 days, jute goes from seed to harvest, making Tierra eligible for LEED credits for rapidly renewable content. The noise-reducing material comes in 2-foot-square lay-in panels, like its traditional fiberglass counterparts. 877-276-7876; armstrong.com. circle 824

SMC Furnishings

Scrap metal gets new life with the Metal Stoolen, the steel version of the company’s signature wooden Stoolen. The designers cut lengths of steel leftover from furniture-making to a uniform height and group them haphazardly. The resulting web of negative space is a cubist dream. The stool measures 21 inches in diameter by 16 high, and is available in custom powdercoated colors or blackened. 718-855-6519; uhurudesign.com. circle 823

Uhuru Design Metal Stoolen

Made from reclaimed heart pine and blackened steel, EGW occasional tables channel old New York in more ways than one. The surface design, reminiscent of New York parquet floors, showcases tree growth rings in beams sourced primarily from the rafters of turn-of-the-century New York factories that have been torn down or renovated. Each table measures 21 inches high by 21½ inches in diameter. 866-599-6722; smcfurnishings.com. circle 822
