In 2006, the company earned the seal for 25 seating products and its Genius architectural walls.

Aria by Ki.KI can now boast sustainable certification for several of its auditorium seating and classroom furniture lines. The office furniture manufacturer is now Greenguard-certified for Aria, Concerto, and Lancaster auditorium seating and 360°, Intellect, and Ivy League classroom furniture.

Recognizing low- emitting products, Greenguard is awarded by the Greenguard Environmental Institute and requires an intensive qualification process and quarterly testing. The seal is also a referenced standard in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System.

In 2006, KI earned the certification for 25 seating products and its Genius architectural walls.

"Educational facilities and performing arts venues increasingly place an emphasis on selecting products that are environmentally friendly," says Norman Nance, vice president-marketing, KI. "This most recent Greenguard Certification provides important validation to specifiers and customers in these markets of KI's commitment to helping them achieve their green objectives."
