Discussion in Santa Monica Addresses Tijuana Environments

On March 23, the Santa Monica Museum of Art will present Exteriors/Interiors, a discussion addressing Tijuana's vernacular architecture. Led by Marcos Ramírez ERRE and architect René Peralta, the event is free and open to the public.
Exteriors/Interiors is offered in conjunction with the exhibit "Strange New World: Art and Design from Tijuana/Extraño Nuevo Mundo: Arte y diseño desde Tijuana," on view through April 7. The exhibit is the first major traveling exhibition on the interdisciplinary art scene in Tijuana, Mexico. Topics include houses made of garage doors, a design trait which has caught the global eye.
The event will start at 7pm; doors open at 6:30pm. The museum will remain open until 6:45pm, 45 minutes later than scheduled hours. The Santa Monica Museum of Art is located at Bergamot Station, Building G1, 2525 Michigan Avenue, Santa Monica.
