The manufacturer's Hinson Velvet Collection now numbers six different velvets in 445 solid colors. New patterns include the wool Cornwall Mohair Velvet, measuring 55 inches wide and able to withstand 65,000 double rubs. Luxury residential designer Campion Platt has not only looked to nature and landscapes for his namesake textile collection, but also to green materials. His six-pattern line—Forest Light, Rock Ledge, Mountain Tartan, Velvet Ground, Woodland Trace, and Rough Terrain—is constructed from organic cotton, recycled polyester, linen, and sustainable bamboo fibers. Le Studio Anthost Pin
Astrid de Saint Anthost took a walk in the woods for her Bois collection, which draws on wood, bark, and moss for inspiration. Pin, French for pine, is one of the highlights.
