Accolade-craving interior designers take notice: It's time once again to submit entries for the annual Lester Dundes Interior Design Competition.

Presented by the New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association, the award recognizes extraordinary design projects and the IIDA NY members who created them.

Firms must submit their competition entries under the membership number of a professional member of IIDA's New York chapter. That member must be involved with the project either as a design team member, lead designer, project manager and/or firm principal. Requests for competition entry kits must be postmarked by March 20, while entry submissions must be postmarked by April 10.

IIDA New York established the award in 2004 to honor the memory of Lester Dundes, the legendary Interior Design publisher and founder of Interior Design’sHall of Fame, who passed away that same year. He began his career at the magazine in 1959 as an advertising sales representative, and retired 45 years later at the age of 80.
