Twenty-three new residential lines open this month at Chicago's Merchandise Mart, with the debut of the design center's new Market Square Chicago. Part of an initiative to offer a wider range of products to designers and retailers, Market Square spans 200,000 square feet and is located on the 15th floor.

Products include upholstery, lighting, wall decor, furniture, home accessories, textiles, floor coverings, bedding, drapery, mirrors, entertaining, antiques, tabletop, and indoor and outdoor furniture.

The space also features the Designer Accessory Resource Room (D.A.R.R.) for onsite product purchases and the Library, a lounge area that can be booked for seminars. In addition to industry books, the Library includes Wi-Fi, docking workstations, coat and baggage check, and a full-service kitchen. For more information or to book an event at the space contact Trisha Schultz at tschultz@mmart.com.

New lines include Michaelian & Kohlberg, which produces handmade decorative carpets woven in Nepal, India, and China, and Arteriors Home, a modern home line including lighting and accent furniture. For a complete list visit the Merchandise Mart.
