More Space for Donghia at the Washington Design Center

The new, larger showroom will open in early Fall.

Donghia's showroom in the Washington Design Center in Washington, D.C. is undergoing a spacious makeover. When the showroom reopens early this Fall, the manufacturer will have more than 10,000 square feet of display space for textiles, furniture, lighting, and accessories.

The expansion is just in time for new lines and products including Bergamo Fabrics and Nobilis. Other lines on hand include the Bradley Collection, Brentano, Calvin Fabrics, Elitis, and Maya Romanoff.

"The expansion of Donghia in DC is proof that The Washington Design Center is the mid-Atlantic’s premier destination for the very best in the design industry," says John H. Brennen III, executive vice president of Merchandise Mart Properties. "Despite the economic challenges, our showrooms are still buzzing and gaining the attention of the design community."

Founded 40 years ago by Angelo Donghia, the manufacturer has 12 showrooms across the United States and over 50 representative showrooms around the world.

The Washington Design Center is managed by Merchandise Mart Properties.
