Bunny Williams will receive an Etoile Award;, Clodagh and Thom Filicia will be participating in SCAD Style

The Savannah College of Art and Design may be located in one of the South’s most beautiful cities, but the prestigious school will migrate North this month to present its annual Étoile Awards in New York.

This year’s honorees--Interior DesignHall of Fame member Bunny Williams, Vanity Fair editor in chief Graydon Carter, legendary French actress Catherine Deneuve, and Shanghai Tang founder David Tang--will accept their awards on April 19 at the James Cohan Gallery, located on West 26th Street in Manhattan.

The New York event serves as a precursor to SCAD Style, the school's annual series of free public lectures, workshops and exhibitions at various locations on its Savannah and Atlanta campuses. Running April 26 through May 6, SCAD Style highlights the college’s programs of study, including interior design, fashion, industrial design, architecture and fibers.

Participants in the event will include Interior Design Hall of Fame member Clodagh, fashion designers Derek Lam and Chris Benz, and New York Fashion Week creator Fern Mallis.
